Restorative

Restorative yoga is one of the best ways to relax and unwind after a long day or a long week. Focusing on slow, easeful movements and long holds in relaxing positions, the deep stretch and mind-body connection after a restorative practice is unparalleled. Some restorative classes also blend therapeutics to release tension in the shoulders, neck and head, hips, and fascia throughout the body. These classes make heavy use of props to keep you as comfy as possible. If you don't have many yoga props in your house, you can use rolls of paper towels as blocks, couch cushions instead of bolsters, and neckties or scarves as straps.
