Athletes

Athletes benefit from yoga as a recovery method and to strengthen and lengthen specific musles and promote flexibility to avoid injuries. Yoga is an effective recovery method for athletes because it gives you a break from similar movement patterns that can wear down muscles over time (for example, throwing a baseball with the same arm hundreds of times a day). Targeted practices for athletes, whether you're a runner, a swimmer, or a weightlifter, can give you a competitive edge while at the same time reducing the strain on your body.
