Nicole Romano Uribarri

Nicole Romano Uribarri is a personal trainer, yoga teacher, dancer and fitness coach specializing in holistic, enjoyable and long term approaches to well being. Over more than a decade, her experience has ranged from helping girls learn a proper plie to helping women increase their flexibility, balance and endurance. She also trains men of all ages, challenging them with exercises that make them question their old strength training routines. In 2008 Nicole was made an Ambassador for lululemon athletica. Since 2009, she has served as mind body manager at exhale spa Chicago, where she previously taught Core Fusion, Core Fusion Sport and Core Fusion Yoga, as well as consulted privately with individual clients. More recently, she has continued to serve exhale's guests directly while overseeing training for the spa's instructors. She is also a member of The Leopold Group, a contemporary dance company in the city, and in 2006, she appeared in the Lyric Opera of Chicago's production of "Salome." Formerly, she was an apprentice with Hedwig Dances and a scholarship trainee at the Hubbard Street Dance Center. Certified as a personal trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine, she earned a bachelor of arts degree, with honors, from the Florida State University's School of Visual Arts Dance. She has also completed residencies with the American Ballet Theatre, the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and the Orlando Ballet. In 2010 Nicole completed her yoga teacher training at Yogaview under the amazing direction of Claire Mark, Geri Bleier, Quinn Kearney, and Tom Quinn. In 2011 Nicole accomplished her life long goal of running a marathon! She ran the Chicago Bank of America marathon with a finishing time of 4 34.
