This Focused Flow aims to reduce the out of balance symptoms of Vata. Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga, characterizes people into three categories of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. You can be a combination of these tendencies or under the influence of just one. When out of balance, Vatas can be scattered, overwhelmed, anxious, dry, and suffer from joint pain. This practice helps ground and stabilize anxiety with mudra (hand gestures) and pranayama (breath work), while offering a variation on our traditional flow to build strength without extra pressure on the joints. Have a blanket and block available.
