Take time to focus on the smaller parts of your body—the wrists, hands, forearms and elbows . Taking care of our peripheral parts, and all the nerve endings that lie there, has a direct effect on our inner organs and other systems of the body. These parts tend to hold a lot of tension due to all of our computer work, texting, and even all of those chaturangas, and they could use some extra attention to help us relax and de-stress. This is great way to prepare your wrists and hands for forearm balance (Pincha Mayurasana). Have a cushion or pillow available to allow you to take a comfortable seat.
