Preparing for Handstand: Yoga Lab Level 1, Class 5

Welcome to a series that will take you through the basics of the level 1 syllabus of the Align and Flow syllabus. You will be guided step by step through a full range of fundamental yoga poses. Whether you are new to yoga or in need of refreshing your practice with the basics, this is a great series for you! The entire series is broken into 8 classes, each around 50 minutes.

Class 5: When we prepare, we are ready to at least try something new. Think of something you want to try—how will you prepare for it? Prepare to turn your perspective upside down! Straight and strong arms, connection at foundation and at shoulders. Two poses we practice in this class are: Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand) and Camatkarasana (Wild Thing Pose).
"By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail." ~ Ben Franklin.
