Yoga Snack: Tree Frog Flow

Yoga Snack: Tree Frog Flow

Full Circle Flow

We're going full circle in this moderately-paced Vinyasa class! Expect a challenge for both your body and brain. As we travel our mat in a circular pattern, we'll explore rotational movements in our hips, shoulders, and spine. In addition, We'll experiment with rolling movements in the ribs, some funky versions of Ardha Hanumanasana (half splits pose), and round out the practice with a flowing Parivrtta Trikonasana (revolved triangle pose). Suggested props are two blocks, as well as a blanket if your knees are sensitive.

Mary is an ERYT 200, as well as a PRYT 85. Mary began her yoga journey at the tender age of twelve, looking to gain more flexibility in ballet class. She practiced on and off from then on, but it was during her first pregnancy in 2013 that the practice really "stuck". Mary completed her initial 200-hour training while pregnant with her second, and it was then that she became really passionate about supporting the perinatal population through the practice of yoga. Mary teaches a wide variety of classes, including pre/postnatal, vinyasa as well as gentle yoga. Mary currently lives and teaches in Chapel Hill, NC.
