This hour long class incorporates a little bit of everything so you'll leave your mat feeling like you've worked every inch of your body! Begin on your back with core work to warm up your center. Then come up to stand and flow through a sequence that includes lunge variations and standing splits. You will build heat with four Sun Salutation A's, twitsting chair and core work that includes side plank and forearm side plank. You will work on holding several standing poses, such as extended side angle, revolved extended side angle, triangle, half moon, and revolved half moon. With all of the heat that you've built, you'll take three bow poses and rest in child's pose before closing your practice in a long pigeon pose, a simple twist on your back and then melt into savasana. Have a block or two on hand.
