Build a Backbend

Illuminate your backbends, starting with simple poses that bring awareness and open both your back body and the front of your thighs. The sequences progresses by building strength in your middle and upper back and engaging your core to bring you in to Full Wheel Pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana) safely and with integrity. This class is great for people who already have a backbend practice or for those who want to strengthen their upper back and work towards the full pose over time. Have a blanket, block and strap available.
