Join Sarah Keely for a Yoga 101 class that will bring mobility and strength to the whole body. In this class you'll flow through a sequence of warrior poses to build strength then test your balance in half moon pose and strengthen your core in numerous (sorry!) boat poses. Cool down with hip and heart opening seated poses. This class is a perfect for a beginner yogi or an experienced practitioner looking to practice familiar poses.
Sarah Keeley has a lighthearted, sincere, and effective way of conveying her lens on the wide world of yoga. With 20 years of experience in a variety of styles, from Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Universal Yoga, to Aerial yoga (just to name a few), she loves to blend techniques and keep things fresh and exciting.
She also has 10 years of experience in Buddhist study and meditation, and spends a fair bit of time studying the martial art of Aikido. Whether in the dojo or the yoga studio, our movement is poetry that can be both fierce and zen. This may be the core of her teaching, to embrace all that we are—fire and water, light and shadow. Sarah believes that the practice of whatever we love has the power to refine our spirits.
