5 Foods to Eliminate and Add for Kapha

5 Foods to Eliminate and Add for Kapha

Kapha Balancing Morning Practice

Kapha, the earth and water element, is heavy and cold and accumulates in the morning, creating lethargy. This dosha is broken up and reduced through deep breathing, movement, warmth, and stimulation. To pacify Kapha and bring balance to the system, we will begin with an energetic breathing technique, building heat, and then move through a fast-paced vinyasa to stimulate the body. This practice will leave you feeling light, awakened and energetic so that you can start your day with a smile.
