Jenni Tarma

Having come to yoga as an injured athlete, Jenni has a thorough understanding of the needs of active yogis. A lifelong runner, casual surfer and recent CrossFit convert, Jenni’s anatomically informed classes emphasize functional movement and good form over showy poses. She sees the yoga practice as a tool for improving performance, whether in sports or daily life, as well as a valuable opportunity to recharge and recover. Jenni is also a RRCA Certified Distance Running Coach and a regular contributor to Yoga Journal, where she writes about anatomy and yoga for athletes. As well as being certified in Teaching Yoga to Athletes via Sage Rountree, she is currently studying for her 500-hour certification in Yoga Medicine with Tiffany Cruikshank.
