What's Included:
This prop-free Pilates class is a good starting point if you've taken a break from Pilates or if you are just now returning to an active movement routine. While this class is definitely challenging, it moves at a slower pace than some of the other Pilates classes posted by Alexandra. Expect a full-body Pilates routine, with attention paid to the hips, thighs, arms and back. And of course: lots of great core work!

Alexandra DeSiato (E-RYT 500) has been teaching movement classes since 2010. Drawn to Pilates and Yoga to heal a running injury, she quickly found that having a stronger core and more powerful glutes meant faster, easier running—and fewer injuries overall.
