This class is a wonderfully well-rounded, challenging practice for such a short time. I believe that it's a short version of a two-hour class available elsewhere, but the short version still does a great job of giving the viewer a solid practice in many different focus areas - pranayama, core work, salutations, standing poses, cool down, shivasana - in a condensed time. Ana is such a wonderful teacher, with soothing voice, great cues, and a great deal of wisdom. The cues are such that you don't need to watch the screen to follow, but Ana demonstrates each pose and modifications, should you choose to watch. The class is accessible to someone with little to no yoga experience, yet it is also challenging to a more experienced practitioner. Highly recommended! (Posted on 12/1/2014)

I will again give praise to Ana and her yoga. I keep coming back to this video because it is so well rounded and brings such strength and vitality through you. Ana Forrest: the Pleasure of Strength.
I got in contact with Forrest yoga during my teacher training at Yoga Tree in 2007 through my teacher Stephanie Snyder who was a great inspiration and also who gave me the biggest supoort on my search for Forrest practice.
Soon as I had the first workshop with Ana (2007) I bought this DVD and I have been taking this class at least once a week, the other days I mix with my personal practice 9created during my Forrest Yoga Teacher Training in 2008) and other Ana's workshops that I download from her website. The Pleasure of Strength brings an indescribable feeling of wellbeing, power and of course fills up the container of energy. As a Forrest Yoga teacher, University professor and full time researcher, my time for Yoga is priority, however sometimes I do not have 2 hours, even an hour to practice, then the DVD offers a short version that provides me with a quality class. I hope you enjoy such as I do.
