Amanda Jackson

Amanda Jackson realized after just her first yoga class that practicing yoga is more than just exercise. Yoga helps us become the best version of ourselves both on and off the mat. Within weeks of beginning her personal yoga journey, Amanda understood that part of her purpose is to share the gift of yoga with others. Amanda believes that all individuals are unique, and her number one objective in teaching is to create a space where everyone feels seen, included, and accepted both for who they are now and who they want to become. She strives to create an environment where her students feel safe to flourish and transform without judgement. In her classes, Amanda incorporates various yoga props as tools for modification, so that everyone can find their own unique expression. She believes that it is not about how your body looks in a posture, but how your body feels in that posture. Amanda believes that yoga is for everyone and loves to work with those new to the practice, and those who think they cannot “do yoga.” Prior to obtaining her RYT-200, Amanda attended classes with Megan Kelly-Sasso at Yogahhh studio in York, SC. In June of 2020, Amanda received her 200-hour yoga certification from the Live Inspired Teacher Training program at Synergy Yoga and Wellness in Rock Hill, SC with Sara Cain-da Costa and Michele Tampa Hoag. Additionally, she has received certifications in Restorative Yoga and Yoga of 12 step recovery, for those dealing with their own addictive behavior or the addictive behavior of others. When she is not teaching, Amanda enjoys exploring her passion for theatre both on and off the stage. She is a devoted fur-mom and spends part of her free time volunteering with local animal rescues.
