Create freedom and stability in your shoulders through this therapeutic yoga class with Chrys Kub. You will start with a pranayama (breathing) practice designed to help you focus breath into areas of the chest that are often ignored — the results are quite soothing! Then, work with foam rollers and massage therapy balls to help release muscular tension in your upper body. Balance that new found openness with a back-body strengthening and lengthening sequence, topped off with a therapeutic release for the spine. Yes, it's a wonderful as it sounds! Please have a 2 blocks, a strap, 2 massage therapy balls (or tennis balls), and a foam roller.

Chrys Kub

Chrys Kub is a certified yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapy and an integrative physical therapist. In 2000, she began her journey with yoga and began to integrate therapeutic techniques within her practice and teaching. Chrys' signature style, FitYogaTherapy, provides an experience which brings together asana, breath and therapeutic tools to persons who are fit as well as those who are healing injuries.

Great when self-motivation is lacking! Review by Sunny
Finally an instructor for using foam rollers! If you're hopeless at self-massage of any kind, like me, these series of classes are just for you. Effective and targeting just the focus areas, they're perfect for when you want to do yoga but feel lazy, or don't want to do Sun Salutes.
