Goldie Oren is a popular yoga teacher in New York City. She has combined her background as a former professional ballerina with yoga to form her characteristic high energy Vinyasa flow classes. She teaches at numerous locations in the City, including exhale spa, Reebok Sports Club NY, Sports Club LA, SLT Yoga, and David Barton Gym. This was a very nice well balanced class. Well organized flow - the poses move naturally from one to another. I do wish I had been a little more warmed up in the very beginning - there are a lot of hamstring stretches. I may add on a few sun salutations before I start this to get blood pumping into my legs, but really this was satisfying by the end. Poses are not held for very long - but that's for a different style. This routine will be added to my regular flow. (Posted on 6/3/2014)
