I am admittedly biased as a Forrest Yoga teacher. Ana Forrest is an unconventional yogi. In a class like this she gives the big ask: for you to call upon your whole self in every moment. While yoga classes are often about coming into the present moment, Ana's approach will emblazon your body. In this class, she focuses on the core-- which she defines as the entire central column from crown to base of the pelvis. Lots of opportunities to heal by heating you up muscularly; Ana's vibrant breath-feeling cuing that will help you to bring more soulful intelligence to your asana practice. (Posted on 5/20/2012)
