Welcome to a series that will take you through the basics of the level 1 Align and Flow syllabus. You will be guided step by step through the full range of foundational yoga asana. Whether you are new to yoga or in need of refreshing your practice with the basics, this is a great series for you! The entire series is broken into 8 classes, each around 50 minutes.

Class 3: Clear boundaries, no limits. This teaching comes from Rajanaka Yoga, a school of yoga applicable in the modern world. How do we live in the world where emotions, thoughts, and actions matter, while simultaneously working towards the more expanded experience that yoga promises? Practice opening the hips and backs of your legs as a physical experience of clear boundaries, no limits. The main poses we will work towards in this class are Hasta Padangustasana, Bakasana, Krounchasana and Vasisthasana. Have a block and strap available.

Sarah Faircloth teaches yoga workshops, trainings and retreats, and is honored to serve students and teachers in expanding their practice and understanding of yoga. She was certified in Anusara yoga in 2003 and has taught yoga for over a decade. She taught at Anusara Yoga's First Grand Gathering in 2008 and the Grand Circle at Wanderlust Vermont in 2011.
