Everyone is welcome, regardless of sport, level of fitness, or yoga experience. The tightnesses athletes have are similar to the tightnesses most Westerners have from sitting in chairs all day, so we sometimes call this "yoga for tight and tired people"—you need not self-identify as an athlete to join, and this is a good first-timer or beginner class.

Yoga for Athletic Balance is not athletic yoga; instead, it will complement the work you do in training. We presume you've already gotten your workout (and your shower!) in for the day, and we take it slow. Our priority is balance: balance of the body in space; balance within the body, front to back, top to bottom, left to right; and balance between work and rest.
