Enjoy the best of both worlds in this Restorative class. Each posture is held two to five minutes utilizing props or unique, gentle variations to encourage deep release and relaxation. While the physical body unwinds, the energetic body sheds pent-up stress. This is a perfect complement to your active, yang practice, athletic endeavors to give you greater flexibility and help prevent injuries, or just to relax, and is appropriate for all seeking the benefits of a very relaxing and nourishing practice. Class will end with a long savasana and yoga nidra. Meditation and breathwork are offered. No yoga experience is needed, all levels welcome. Please have a yoga bolster or a sturdy stack of pillows for restorative poses. Yoga blocks or a stack of thick books are also recommended.
