By fusing Yin yoga with Vinyasa flow, Coffin has created an integrated, balanced online yoga practice. The first 30 minutes of Yin work help release the connective tissues, create space and integrity in the joints and remove blockages to internal energy flow. Focusing on the hips, pelvis, lower back and knees, the Yin postures keep the core supple. The hour-long Yang section is a flowing repetition of movements requiring strength and balance, while emphasizing breath work and internal locks. The heat and internal awareness generated in the Yang portion build on the releases cultivated during the Yin series. (95 mins.)

Loved the yin and pranayama before the vinyasa. The vinyasa is also great, including leg and core work, and inversions. Highly recommend Jennifer's class, especially on those days you are feeling a little sluggish. (Posted on 8/10/2014)

I was frequently confused by the cues. Class felt very choppy as a result. She speeds up her instruction during intense moments when instruction is crucial. I had to stop several times and go back to see what the students in the class were doing. I was somewhat relieved to see that they appeared to be confused too. Also, this is not a crazy sweaty flow. There is very little flow at all. (Posted on 8/25/2013)

This class had an amazing and surprisingly restorative effect on chronic tightness in my upper back and neck -- wow, wasn't expecting that relief! It is also a very uniquely constructed class, a hybrid of a few opening yin poses followed by a Forrest-inspired mix of breath work, core work and fundamental strength work . . . all returning to a quiet shavasana.

Really lovely, really helpful. (Posted on 5/20/2010)

This is one of the best yoga sequences I have ever experienced. The release of the yin, the fantastic breath work, and the vigor of the vinyasa flow make this a deeply invigorating practice. (Posted on 2/19/2010)
