On a daily basis our hips get compromised, from sitting in a chair, or from activities such as running and cycling. Opening the hips is essential to help release tension in other areas of the body such as the lower back. It's also one of the main places where we hold our emotions. Enjoy this smooth, well-rounded practice and feel the satisfaction of deep hip release. Have a block available.

Such a great class! Review by Alena
I really needed to get deep in my hips and this class not only just did this!I found it a wonderful all around! I was worried about the transitions, but I thought they were very smooth and kept the flow going nicely! I also found a great new for me teacher here on Yoga Vibes. Thank you:) (Posted on 8/26/2020)

What a wonderful class. I liked Laura's vibe and the unique sequences. Made me realize how tight my hips are from spinning and how much I need to do yoga more frequently! Thanks Laura! (Posted on 2/12/2019)

Great class. My hips and back feel amazing, and I appreciated the fresh sequences and transitions. Saving this one to my favorites! (Posted on 9/22/2015)

I've been doing yoga for several years, but I found the transitions and the speed of the directions to be fairly clunky and distracting. Though with that said, I still got a good hip stretch, which is what I showed up for..! (Posted on 6/3/2015)

People talked about the transitions being strange, but I found them to be wonderfully fluid. I have a tight lower back and legs from running and lifting and I found this to be challenging and restorative. (Posted on 3/18/2015)

Good class I like the sequence but some of the poses toward the end are a bit funky. Great teacher though. Keep it simple we are not professional yogi. 😉 (Posted on 3/2/2015)

Good but not groundbreaking. My hips and legs feel good and worked, but some of the transitioning in the sequences was a bit awkward. (Posted on 2/13/2015)

This is another great class from Laura! I love how she combines hip opening and heart/shoulder opening in all her classes, and this one is no exception. Excellent instruction as always, I'm keeping this 'hipster' class in my favorites as a go-to class under 60 mins. Thanks Laura! (Posted on 2/8/2015)
