    The basis of yoga is really simple.

    Yoga means to create union between the mind, body, and spirit. The word yoga stems from the Sanskrit root word “Yuj” which means "to yoke" or bring together.

    So, what is the magical yogi tool of the trade?

    Take a deep inhale. Okay, now exhale. There it is!

    The breath.

    The breath allows for the deep integration of the mind, body and spirit.

    The breath that we establish throughout the practice is called the Ujjayi breath, also known as the “Victorious Breath.“

What an awesome tool, right? Heck yea, it is! But like anything, you need to actually practice using the tool to master it.
