This class had an amazing and surprisingly restorative effect on chronic tightness in my upper back and neck -- wow, wasn't expecting that relief! It is also a very uniquely constructed class, a hybrid of a few opening yin poses followed by a Forrest-inspired mix of breath work, core work and fundamental strength work . . . all returning to a quiet shavasana.

This is one of the best yoga sequences I have ever experienced. The release of the yin, the fantastic breath work, and the vigor of the vinyasa flow make this a deeply invigorating practice.

This class is just right for a tight day that more slow movement is needed before diving into a vinyasa class. It begins with slow yin poses and then moves directly into a great vinyasa based class with inversions, etc. I would suggest you have a block ready for this class as you will need it and a bolster isn't a bad idea either. You will love it!
