Yoga Class Description

Sometimes when you have a cold it is difficult to practice yoga at your normal pace or intensity. This online yoga class with Ashley Turner will help you increase the flow of oxygen through your body and get your prana moving in order to help your body heal itself. Practice a series of poses that can be held for longer if you are able. Listen to your body and take extra breaths if necessary. Finish feeling more energetic and less congested and foggy. Have a bolster (or bed pillow), blanket and eye pillow available to make yourself comfortable. (21 mins.)

I have had a cold this week along with the rest of the family, and I didn't believe this would actually work.... but it does! Last night before bed I was congested, so I did this followed by a 15 minute meditation. Well, it worked! Cleared my sinuses and I went straight to bed, this morning I woke up feeling much better than yesterday. It could be a coincidence, but I don't think so, the rest of the household is the same level of sick!

Sensational! I feel like a new man. Thank you Ashley!

I feel sooooo much better after that lovely restorative practice. Will definitely do it again this afternoon and will hold the poses longer as Ashley suggests. Namaste

I really have wanted to try this class so in a weird way, I've been looking forward to a cold! Well, that time has arrived and Ashley didn't disappoint. This is essentially a restorative class with some good tips on practicing with cold symptoms. While the class runs a little over twenty minutes, Ashley recommends holding some of the restorative poses much longer than the short time in which she can demonstrate (5, 10 or 15 minutes). So budget accordingly!

This was just what I needed and I feel the best I've felt in days, after Ashley's restorative class. I came down with an awful flu this week - body aches, fever, coughing, chills - the works. And this class was a PERFECT remedy. Definitely take Ashley's advice on slowing it down and holding the poses for longer, the benefits are worth it. Thank you!
