I agree that this class could have been better sequenced. Some transitions were awkward. The pacing was quite fast at the beginning of the flow, but it then abruptly dropped off. Some of this teacher's other 30-minute classes are much more "crazy sweaty" than this. However, I enjoyed this class nonetheless. More well-rounded than many of this length, with side stretches, janusirsasana, and twists. Much of the unusual or choppy sequencing seemed to be in an attempt to make this class a little different and get away from the standard flow, which was fun. Possibly not for beginners, and I wouldn't come back to this when I want a workout, but I would come back to it at other times.

I'm studying for the bar right now and needed to decrease my stress level. This class was great to take me out of head and quick enough to get me a little sweaty in a short time frame. I have taken Lauren's class live many times and watched all of her videos. While I agree that her breathing cues were faster than her usual instruction, my breath adjusted with my heart rate and the pace. I liked all of the poses and I wish it would have lasted a little longer. ; ) On a side note, I agree that maybe beginners should not take this class because of the extra fast pace.

I have taken many classes over many years and the focus, synchronicity (timing of instruction and position), and intensity (all breath, then all fast movement, and no connection) is not very well incorporated. Especially if you are new to yoga do not take this class - you could hurt yourself. Perhaps try one of the other instructors who are able to connect with considerate instruction.

Way too fast. I get we were trying to detox but I could not keep up.

The teacher cues every breath (well, at least for the first 12 minutes - I quit after that). That probably works well for some people, but it prevented me from breathing in a way that felt deep and smooth to me. I had to rush my breath to keep up. I eventually turned it off and decided to do my own (still energizing and sweaty) practice in order to escape the rapid barrage of breath cues.

Good work out but the flow was too quick for me, my breath was not at all connected in trying to keep up
