In this online yoga class, the focus will be on twists to detoxify your mind, body, and spirit. You will move through dynamic sun salutes to warm your body and then move into backbends, hip openers and core work. Virasana, or heroes pose, will be visited several times in different variations in order to help you access your inner hero and strength. Appropriate for all levels of yoga experience. (82 mins.)
Michelle Johnson has been practicing yoga since 2000. In May of 2009 she completed a 200 hour Power Yoga Training in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at Franklin Street Yoga Center with Lori Burgwyn. She is currently in a 500 hour yoga training with Stephanie Keach of Asheville Yoga Center. She loves the connection of the mind, body and spirit and brings that into all of her classes. Michelle's goal is to help students connect with their breath and build strength, flexibility and focus. She loves witnessing students connect more deeply with their bodies and their mental, spiritual and emotional selves.
