Roll out of bed and into suns! Pete's Sun Salutation Bonanza is the perfect way to awaken the body and connect to your breath before starting the day. A complete practice in itself, Sun Salutations are designed to honor and connect our inner sun (our heart) with our outer sun (that big ball of fire in the sky). Begin by slowly warming the body with breath work and gentle movement, then gradually build heat into 3 variations of Surya Namaskara. Pete's instruction is easy to follow, yet intense, and flows smoothly into a succinct warm-down replete with savasana. For the cardio junkies, Pete's Sun Salutation Bonanza is also a great post-run strength building and stretching practice. Crank up the heat at home and get super sweaty with full vinyasas, or keep it mellow with knees down all the way. Either way, Pete's sense of humor will keep you going, "Need more suns? Hit rewind!"
