This online yoga class focuses on the health of the stomach and spleen during the late summer months to aid us in the transition to Fall and the colder months. Transitions can be the most difficult time of all, where we cling to the past, and resist the future, especially in the end of summer. Using the Chinese medicine meridian system, we will focus on opening the channels in the front body, with many variations of virasana for the hip flexors and using the deep fold in the legs for digestion, supporting the organs of the body that aid in transition, assimilation and elimination. Have a block and blanket available. (46 mins.)
