In this alignment-focused SmartFLOW class with Tiffany Russo, you will start reclining with some guided pranayama exercises. You will have opportunities to use your block in several different sequences as you focus on the action of the inner thighs. Move into Sun Salutations and a side plank sequence to warm the body, followed by a standing balance sequence. Hold forearm plank to build strength, stability and openness in the shoulders. After moving through several standing twists you will practice forearm balance (pincha mayurasana) or dolphin pose as a prep, focusing on the inner thighs and shoulders. End with backbends, cooling inversions, and seated forward folds and twists. A well-rounded flow practice for practitioners looking to deepen their practice or challenge themselves.
