In this all levels slow flow yoga class with Cristi Christensen, you will start reclining with a pranayama exercise before bringing movement and energy to the spine. After a standing flow you will work towards a challenging balance involving dancer's pose standing on a block! End with backbends, seated twists and hip openers and then a short, guided meditation before savasana. This New Moon flow will help you welcome and integrate all aspects of yourself. Cristi Christensen, Director of Exhale Center for Sacred Movement in Venice, California, adventurer, and free spirit, takes her inspiring yoga teachings and positive vibes to every corner of the earth. Her background as a former elite-level gymnast and platform diver, combined with her degree in Kinesiology, eventually led her to yoga. After suffering an injury, her Olympian path was put to an end. Resilient and determined, Cristi re-focused her efforts, deciding to inspire others to improve their health and wellness through personal training, Pilates, Core Fusion and yoga.
