The video above is only a preview. To watch this and other full length classes, sign up for one of our plans.

Yoga Class Description

This online yoga practice is designed for the times when you are feeling thick, heavy, low in energy and maybe stuck seeing life from a negative point of view. Filled with lateral poses and Udana Vayu energy, the sequence will increase your prana, life force energy, and help you access more lightness in your body and mind. We start with a short pranayama session to get things going and then move into a strong flowing sequence that will energize you for the rest of your day. Warning: Yoga is dangerous to those who enjoy remaining sad and heavy. You will change from this practice, and may end up smiling in the end, so practice at your own risk! : ) Have two blocks, a strap and a blanket available. (64 mins.)

I was a little perplexed with the opposite movement/direction of the breath. On the inhale the breath moves down/diaphragm moves down, on the exhale/the breath moves up/diaphragm moves up. Why was the direction opposite to anatomy here? Just curious....it felt nice none the less

Great, instructions, great sequencing, great pace. This is one of my favorites, will definitely do it again soon!

Jeanne has the uncanny ability to deliver thoughtful instruction about alignment through a profoundly meditative lens. This class on mood-lifting was no exception. By creating length in the side-body, we made space for breath. By making space for breath, we made space for peace. By the end of practice, I felt more relaxed than I had all week. Try it!
