This fun filled flow will allow you to tune into your breath, to settle down in the body, and to connect to your core allowing the core to support you throughout the practice. This online yoga class allows you to focus on standing balance poses including Warrior III, toppling Tree, Half Moon, and Revolved Half Moon. We move into some upper back stretching and backbending, and the class ends with some juicy hip openers before a sweet, soft svasana. (63 mins.)
Michelle Johnson has been practicing yoga since 2000. In May of 2009 she completed a 200 hour Power Yoga Training in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at Franklin Street Yoga Center with Lori Burgwyn. She is currently in a 500 hour yoga training with Stephanie Keach of Asheville Yoga Center. She loves the connection of the mind, body and spirit and brings that into all of her classes. Michelle's goal is to help students connect with their breath and build strength, flexibility and focus. She loves witnessing students connect more deeply with their bodies and their mental, spiritual and emotional selves.
