Yoga Class Description

Work with the elements of fire and water in this online yoga class celebrating the end of one cycle and awakening into a whole new year (or any new cycle). Start with a seated meditation and movements to clear out the spine. A standing sequence is followed by core work to burn off negativity and limiting self-beliefs. Practice a standing balance sequence and side crow. There is an opportunity for self-expression and backbends, followed by a blissful savasana. (88 mins.)

Cristi Christensen, Director of Exhale Center for Sacred Movement in Venice, California, adventurer, and free spirit, takes her inspiring yoga teachings and positive vibes to every corner of the earth. Her background as a former elite-level gymnast and platform diver, combined with her degree in Kinesiology, eventually led her to yoga. After suffering an injury, her Olympian path was put to an end. Resilient and determined, Cristi re-focused her efforts, deciding to inspire others to improve their health and wellness through personal training, Pilates, Core Fusion and yoga. Her teachings are bright and dynamic, wrapped in an infectious, inspiring energy.
