Start this online yoga class with a personal investigation so you can move in a safe way and explore your mind and body. This practice is about finding more ease within ourselves, getting more connected with the vibrations flowing through us, and awakening energy that might be dormant or chilling out energy that might be over-activated. Start with some cross-directional movements to awaken the mind, spinal movements, and hips and hamstring openers. Generate additional heat with Sun Salutation variations, opportunities to practice dolphin pose or pincha mayursasana prep and a standing balance sequence. Cristi Christensen, Director of Exhale Center for Sacred Movement in Venice, California, adventurer, and free spirit, takes her inspiring yoga teachings and positive vibes to every corner of the earth. Her background as a former elite-level gymnast and platform diver, combined with her degree in Kinesiology, eventually led her to yoga. After suffering an injury, her Olympian path was put to an end.
