This 60 minute online yoga class opens up your hamstrings and heart. Michelle leads you through a sweet warm up of the hips and hamstrings, builds some heat through Sun Salutations and lunges and stretches you through triangle pose and full hanumanasana. Hanuman is a special figure who had so much faith he leaped across the ocean. You'll end this practice feeling connected and calm and full of faith and inspiration. Have two blocks available. Michelle Johnson has been practicing yoga since 2000. In May of 2009 she completed a 200 hour Power Yoga Training in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at Franklin Street Yoga Center with Lori Burgwyn. She is currently in a 500 hour yoga training with Stephanie Keach of Asheville Yoga Center. She loves the connection of the mind, body and spirit and brings that into all of her classes. Michelle's goal is to help students connect with their breath and build strength, flexibility and focus. She loves witnessing students connect more deeply with their bodies and their mental, spiritual and emotional selves.
