Yoga Class Description

Detox with this twisting and heart opening level 2 online yoga vinyasa flow class! You'll begin flowing through several Sun Salutations with low lunges, high lunges, and twists. Continue to build heat with Sun Salutation A and a variation on Sun Salutation B (with Warrior 1, Warrior 2, and Reverse Warrior). The sequence will continue to build and each time you will move into deeper variations of revolved extended side angle, and several backbends, such as a locust variation, bow pose, camel pose, wild thing, and finally bridge pose. While focusing on deepening the twist, you will also open your hips in poses such as extended side angle, half moon, and standing splits. To close the practice you'll hold a long pigeon pose with an option to twist, a seated spinal twist, ankle to knee pose, and one final backbend before releasing into Savasana. Have a block or two available. Enjoy! (60 mins.)

Excellent cues. That class has been carefully designed to make you twist, bend and bind. I would have enjoyed that class even better if the teacher had introduced a bit of yoga philosophy int that sequence, something to nourish my mind and not only my body.

An extremely well put together class that is perfect for level two students. Her instruction is so clear that you can simply flow through the poses and it is just challenging enough. Definitely going in my "favorites' file!

Incredible class that one can take several times a week. Goldie is calming and energizing at once.

That was a fabulous class!! Perfect cueing. Didn't need to watch the video. Super smooth, and no extra words. Lots of sweat and peace. Thank you!

Meghan S

This class was steady and smooth and built up nicely. All the twists felt great. Namaste!

This is one of my favorite classes on YV. It's a fast enough pace to work up a sweat and I feel completely wrung out afterward. There are plenty of twists and forward folds and some backbending. All it's missing is an inversion. Otherwise....fabulous class!!! Please more classes from Goldie.

great class!

Clear phrasing, great steady flow. I liked the warm look of the setting, and benefited from this somewhat mainstream workout today. Traditional type vinyasa flow, gets the basics right. Goldie has a lovely body, and seems to teach class from the awareness of the body mostly. I prefer deeper experiences with more philosophy, heart, wildness and ancient traditions woven in, but I respect very much the way yoga is making inroads to the more "mainstream" (or whatever! Just words!) consciousness because yoga is for everyone! Will check out her other classes ;)

Nice, slow, mellow practice. Gentle twists and nice back openers.
