In this 60-minute online yoga class, Michelle will guide you through a series of poses to help you feel more grounded and centered. The class begins with Sun Salutations and warrior poses, then transitions into twists of fire to build heat to stoke the internal fire. The class transitions into a warrior sequence which twists and turns, core work, backbends, and an inversion, and ends with a grounding hip opener and a soothing savasana. This class is great to help wake you up in the morning, or offer you a mid-day refresher or a sweet end to the work day. Have a block, blanket, and strap available. (60 mins.)

Michelle Johnson has been practicing yoga since 2000. In May of 2009 she completed a 200 hour Power Yoga Training in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at Franklin Street Yoga Center with Lori Burgwyn. She is currently in a 500 hour yoga training with Stephanie Keach of Asheville Yoga Center. She loves the connection of the mind, body and spirit and brings that into all of her classes. Michelle's goal is to help students connect with their breath and build strength, flexibility and focus. She loves witnessing students connect more deeply with their bodies and their mental, spiritual and emotional selves.
