Yoga Class Description

Pause, check-in and feel in this slow flow online yoga class with Cristi Christensen. Practice operating from a place of inspiration and intention as you move through a series of slow Sun Salutations, a spine lengthening sequence, core work, and a strong standing balance sequence. Opportunities to practice bakasana (crow pose) and hanumanasana (full splits). Plenty of time for restorative floor work at the end. Have two blocks and a strap available. (90 mins.)

Cristi Christensen, Director of Exhale Center for Sacred Movement in Venice, California, adventurer, and free spirit, takes her inspiring yoga teachings and positive vibes to every corner of the earth. Her background as a former elite-level gymnast and platform diver, combined with her degree in Kinesiology, eventually led her to yoga. After suffering an injury, her Olympian path was put to an end. Resilient and determined, Cristi re-focused her efforts, deciding to inspire others to improve their health and wellness through personal training, Pilates, Core Fusion and yoga. Her teachings are bright and dynamic, wrapped in an infectious, inspiring energy.
