Yoga Class Description

Illuminate your backbends, starting with simple poses that bring awareness and open both your back body and the front of your thighs. The sequences progresses by building strength in your middle and upper back and engaging your core to bring you in to full wheel pose (urdhva dhanurasana) safely and with integrity. Filmed live at Yoga Tree Hayes, this online yoga class is great for people who already have a backbend practice or for those who want to strengthen their upper back and work toward the full pose over time. Have a blanket, block and strap available. (59 mins.)

I have loved all the classes I have taken so far with Stacey, she teaches transitions so well, which if you are still getting used to your home practice makes you check your self in the best way possible, by just noticing and continuing to breath. This wonderful beginners practice is no exception. There is nothing too difficult yet in this practice but I also learned more about using my abs and middle back to transition than I have ever before and really leaves that amazing juicy feeling at the end. Thank you so much Stacey for teaching me how my body works!
