Yoga Class Description

In this online yoga class for athletes and everyone, we take a Yin approach to working around the hips. In long holds of still poses on the floor, you'll sharpen your focus, develop a meditative awareness, and tune in to the subtle - and not so subtle - movement of energy in your body. Take the time for this quiet practice and finish with a new sense of centeredness and an openness in your hips and spine. A bolster, blocks and blankets or homemade equivalents will be needed to support the long holds. (61 mins.)

Sage Roundtree is fantastic. I love the way she sets up each pose to be whatever is going to work for you -- with so many options for how to be in that pose, and yet this does not at all diminish the value of each yin hold. I also appreciate the level of talking she provides...to give some context for how to think about how to experience (and persist in!) each pose.
