Have a Break from Chaturanga

The video above is only a preview. To watch this and other full length classes, sign up for one of our plans.

Yoga Class Description

A vinyasa flow class without a single Chaturanga! Many of us get hurt from practicing chaturanga over and over again, simply to build the heat or transition between poses, but without the proper support of our legs or alignment in our shoulders. This online yoga class gives a solid build up of heat in the body, without practicing a single chaturanga. You won't miss it! Have two blocks and a blanket available. (53 mins.)

An enjoyable class, though a bit less challenging than many of the other level 2 classes on yogavibes. I found it a little misleading that it was advertised as a "break from chaturanga" class because you do in fact lower from plank to the floor multiple times (you just don't stop in low push-up or chaturanga in order to transition directly to upward facing dog). That didn't bother me, but if anyone is trying to avoid lowering from plank because of a shoulder injury or other issue, it's good to be aware of up front!
