I did this class while I was out of town on work. I didn't know about the whole internet class thing... But it was incredible! The energy Kathryn puts into the class is infectious, there is a perfect blend of challenging asanas and I found it to be an all round perfect class! Full of love and flow : )

Her class was referred to me from my teacher when I was heading out of town...I was not disappointed!! What fun energy, and I just love arm balances and inversions!! I also got a little sweat on as well. I recommend to anyone who wants to be challenged.

I have heard great things about Kathryn's classes, but until Yoga Vibes had not had an opportunity to experience a class with her. My favorite thing about her class was her happy go lucky, playful, mindful, confident style. She made me laugh from my living room and that is so important in a practice and in life. We are always so serious (especially when it comes to those tough poses), but we learn the most when we let go/relax and play.

This is a seminar-like class, strongly focused on the physical mechanics of floating, piking and jumping through. Kathryn has a playful, knowing rapport with her students and is very clear and calm in her approach. I admit I found it a little disconcerting that she said "Savasana is the whole point of yoga" and then proceeded to spend little more than a minute in that essential pose. Know that if you download this class, you might want to stop it and add on your own savasana.

i really don't think i would ever have gotten over my fears and been able to practice all the delicious arm balances and inversions that i love if it weren't for kathryn... first of all, she is so articulate and explains so descriptively what it is supposed to FEEL like, often giving whimsical, imaginative analogies to get your brain prepared... second of all.. she brings such a lightheartedness to everything she teaches. She is always bubbling over with encouragement and love and enthusiasm for her students. I always feel like she is truly willing me to do things that i thought were impossible... and MOST importantly she reminds her students to laugh! when we laugh we stop gripping and pushing and start surrendering and enjoying what we are doing, because otherwise "why are we doing it?" and all of a sudden things that were so difficult become effortless! (and not to mention.. when you crash to the ground, it feels really good to laugh it off and makes it much easier to get back up and try again!) I love her playfulness and joy... it's infectious and has transformed my practice into a gravity-defying one, which is a practice I NEVER thought i would have!
