Core Fusion® Sport

The video above is only a preview. To watch this and other full length classes, sign up for one of our plans.

Class Description

Core Fusion® Sport is a total-body workout designed to help improve sports performance, while reducing the risk of sports-related injuries. Using a combination of lateral and twisting movements, this online class chisels and firms the arms, shoulders, legs and butt, while focusing on the core. This calorie-burning cardio class uses resistance bands, core balls and mat abdominals. Balanced flexibility exercises at the end help increase range of movement. You may want to have a dual-grip medicine ball and/or a set of light dumbbells, as well as a dyna-band (resistance band), available for this practice. Music provided by Muscle Mixes Music. (53 mins.)

I liked the leg exercises with the band on this, really felt it. I did not have a ball so some of the movements were perhaps not as effective with hand weights, I also would use a heavier weight next time to make them more challenging. I was expecting it to be more of a cardio challenge like Core Fusion Cardio, but it wasn't. However, even though it wasn't I really enjoyed it and liked the flow of the movements and the swinging/twisting they incorporated.

Just like being in class!

I love this workout overall, however I do have one of the balls like the kind they use so I'm sure it feels limited without it. You can use hand weights but it isn't exactly the same for some of the moves (such as the jump backs) which could be cumbersome without the handled core ball. Also, I wasn't too keen on the strap core, I thought it was a bit long.... but I really enjoyed all the strength work :)

Awesome!!! Thank you for this amazing website! I was doing Core Fusion dvd's, but they quickly get boring, so this is perfect! I hope they keep adding more challenging classes, as I don't live in a city where I can attend classes...except when I travel to Turks and Caicos...

Love that I can get Core Fusion workouts in my own home, since I don't live in a city that has it available. Hope there are more to come with more progressions etc.. just like taking the class live, its great!! Love the flow, keep the challenges coming.

I have all the Exhale Core Fusion DVDs and I really like them, but I loved this live class of Core Fusion Sport. I would like to request that many more Exhale Core Fusion live classes be added, especially the Core Cardio class I have heard so much about. I do not live near any of the cities that have Core Fusion classes, so this is the only way I can experience these classes now. Thank you YogaVibes and thank you Exhale, for putting your Core Fusion classes on this website. I can't wait to see more!

I was thinking there would be more yoga infused. Also, I did not have the ball they were working with and I think that is true for many so that is limiting. I did like some of the strength moves incorporated. The overall feel was a group class workout without sneakers.
