Yoga Class Description

In this online yoga class, Strother weaves the tapas - an aspect of the eight limbs of yoga - within the larger context of yoga and asana. Students explore Surya Namaskar A, lunges, Surya Yantrasana, handstand, revolved half moon, hanumanasana, kapotasana and leg-behind-the-head. Strother pays specific attention to aligning not only the body, but also the intentions of the heart. Suitable for all levels. (96 mins.)

This is the best class I have taken on yogavibes. After practicing yoga for 7 years and focusing on anusara for 4 years, then moving to a part of the country where it is not available to me, I have been craving a class that is alignment based. Sarah is able to give really descriptive and detailed cues without wasting a lot of time and using fancy wording that may be hard for someone not well learned in the anusara "lingo". The alignment cues flow out of her so easily and allow you to really get deep. I would love to see more of her classes online and would love to take a few in person!
