In this online Vinyasa flow yoga class, Michelle begins with some grounding exercises. Then she guides you through Sun Salutations and lunges, leading into standing split variations and then on to headstand prep and headstand, and ending with a few heart openers and hip openers. This class mixes it up in a good way! Have two blocks and a strap available. (60 mins.)
Michelle Johnson has been practicing yoga since 2000. In May of 2009 she completed a 200 hour Power Yoga Training in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at Franklin Street Yoga Center with Lori Burgwyn. She is currently in a 500 hour yoga training with Stephanie Keach of Asheville Yoga Center. She loves the connection of the mind, body and spirit and brings that into all of her classes. Michelle's goal is to help students connect with their breath and build strength, flexibility and focus. She loves witnessing students connect more deeply with their bodies and their mental, spiritual and emotional selves.
