Yoga Class Description

In this vigorous Vinyasa flow you will incorporate deep twists, shoulder and hip openers, and postures that activate and release the side body to create more length down the spine and spaciousness in the front body in order to bring ease and freedom in your backbend practice. This is a level 2/3 online yoga class filmed live at Yoga Vida by Kat Fowler. Have one or two blocks available. (61 mins.)

The sequencing was original, fresh, and challenging with surprising transitions that added to the practice. The deep stretches were a great inclusion. Kat Fowler

Kat Fowler is a NYC based yoga teacher, E-RYT 500, and teacher trainer with 1000+ hours of training, known for her light hearted and inspirational style of teaching that encourages personal expression, inner connection and courage through movement. Kat uses her passion for the yoga practice, love for anatomy and lifelong surrounding of yoga philosophy to inspire her students to experience the limitless potential of the human spirit through the path of the yoga practice. 

Previously the lead yoga director of two yoga studios, Kat now leads teacher training and workshops in her hometown, NYC and around the US. Kat has trained and mentored numerous teachers at Pure Yoga and Yoga Vida in NYC, and guest teaches at Yoga Vida's 200 hour teacher training. Kat works with Yoga Medicine as a lead mentor in their teacher training programs all over the globe. Integrating an upbringing of spirituality and over fifteen years of personal yoga asana practice, Kat's classes are creative and intelligent, anatomically informed and athletically challenging, spiritually grounding, and are accessible to yoga students of all levels.
