Yoga Class Description

One of the most revered yoga poses is Urdhva Danurasana, or upward facing bow pose. This pose is often thought to be the sign of an advanced yoga practice and a healthy spine. Sigrid breaks down the the alignment necessary to safely practice Urdhva Danurasana without hurting the lower back. This step by step online yoga clinic highlights each aspect of the pose so that the student can open both hips and shoulders and work the spine to their maximum capacity. Beginners can learn the basic mechanics and strengthen the body while more advanced practitioners can use this video to refine their practice. Have two blocks or blankets or a bolster available. (35 mins.)
