Inward Focus (4) - Sage Rountree's Yoga for Athletes Series
Explore turning your attention toward what's happening on the inside in each pose. Learning to listen to your body is a critical skill for athletes and yogis. In this practice, we warm up low to the ground in an inchworm flow, then move into a series of lunges. There is room for modification, so you can enjoy the hip openers while cultivating core strength in flows through, or you can focus more on stretching and the internal experience. We finish with a series of reclining hip stretches and twists and shoulder stand for a full-body release. (72 mins.)
